Japanese culture experience program: Tatami（畳）& Origami(折紙）
(Afternoon, August 19th (Day 1), Free of Charge)

- Date and time: August 19th (Day 1) 13:00-16:00 at any time
- Place: Rinno-ji Temple "Shiunkaku"（輪王寺「紫雲閣」）2nd floor
- No additional fee & registration is required. Everyone is eligible to join.

Admire the wonderful tatami(畳) room of Rinnoji "Shiunkaku" (輪王寺「紫雲閣」!).


Please try to ORIGAMI(折紙), and you may bring back your opus.
Students in our Japanese universities will support your ORIGAMI experiences.


There are famous animals in Nikko Toshogu (日光東照宮）, and you can make them with ORIGAMI by our student assistance.
You will have a good memory. Welcome to your participation.

Excursion (Afternoon, Aug. 21th (Wed))

Edo Wonderland (Nikko Edomura「日光江戸村」)

Our Japanese students working for TJCAS2019 will guide you to go to Edo Wonderland together.

Notice that the conference registration fee does not include this specific activity.
It would cost about JPY 5,000 - 10,000; Its entrance admission fee is around JPY 5,000, and we recommend bringing JPY 10,000 to enjoy a lot.

Please pay with Japanese yen by yourself on-site.

Free tourism (Anytime)

There are a lot of historical heritages such as temples and shrines around the venues at Nikko, and you could visit by yourself. If you want to worship there, their entrance admission fee might be required which you have to pay by yourself locally (the TJCAS registration does not cover them).
